We had a great time at our April meeting – it was an open session and we had a great mix of different activities going on, from crochet to tapestry weaving. Annie was leaning to warp a loom with some spectacular yarn she had dyed inspired by the colours of the canal.

We also had a good mix of spinners – both experienced and beginners learning new techniques like Helen spinning up a batt with sari silk.

Of course, we also had a good selection of cakes…

In May we don’t have a regular meeting but the Guild has a stand at Buxton Wool Gathering where some of our members will be demonstrating fibre and textile crafts.
